The term, sobremesa is a saying used by Spanish speakers that refers to the time immediately after a shared meal, where gathered loved ones linger around the table to talk, share coffee, tea and deserts and celebrate each other's company. It is not a rushed time but one of leisure. Through hand gestures, the purpose of this work is to venerate the intimate and fleeting moments shared among family at the end of a meal.

La sobremesa es un dicho en Castellano que se refiere a el momento inmediatamente después de una comida compartida donde seres queridos se quedan reunidos en la mesa para conversar, compartir cafe, té y postres y celebrar buena companía. No es un tiempo de apuro pero de relajo. A traves de gestos de hablar con las manos, el proposito de esta obra es venerar los momentos intimos y pasajeros que comparte una familia durante la sobremesa.
